The Fatima Case: Evidence Matrix and Source Dossier

Provenance. The method is the point: reconstruction of the hidden through systematic work with traces, with the limits of that reconstruction stated in the text itself. Every study in this series follows a documented protocol (Zenodo, DOI 10.5281/zenodo.20025701): the direction, the judgments, the adjudication of sources, and the final edit are the author’s; collection and drafting use AI systems in assigned roles; drafts pass an adversarial audit built to attack the argument, and every cited link is verified before release.

This document is part of the same analytical unit as the main post. It contains the full evidentiary infrastructure: all claims verified, all source chains graded, all falsification conditions stated. A claim that does not appear in the Evidence Matrix was not published.

The matrices below cover: the full Actor Map (split-actor analysis of nine institutional actors); the Russia Element Matrix (documentary timeline of when each Russia-related claim first appears vs. when it was claimed to have been spoken); the Third Secret Custody Matrix (document history from 1944 to 2016); and the Full Evidence Matrix in two parts (28 claims total, with L/M grades, confidence scores, and falsification conditions for each).

ACTOR MAP

Nine institutional actors treated as analytically distinct. “The Vatican” as a unified subject is not used in the analysis.

RUSSIA ELEMENT MATRIX

Each Russia-related claim mapped against its earliest documentary node. Event date and written source date distinguished throughout. The 24-year gap between the claimed 1917 apparition and the 1941 memoir is the central evidentiary problem of the Russia layer.

THIRD SECRET CUSTODY MATRIX

Document history of the Third Secret from writing (1944) to the Vatican’s contested closure (2000 to 2016). Three popes read the text and returned it sealed. The Fuentes repudiation (1959) is the only documented case of institutional suppression of a published account of the Secret’s content.
